Punjab Group of Colleges(PGC) is a group of self financed unaided institutions set up by Gyan Jyoti Educational and Social Welfare Society (Regd.) The Society was established with a deep commitment to promote and propagate quality education conforming to international standards. It has been founded by a great visionary ,Mr. Nirmal Singh, Chairman of the society. The institutes are duly approved by Bar Council of India (New Delhi), NCTE (Jaipur), AICTE (New Delhi),affiliated to Punjabi University (Patiala) and Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE & IT). The campus is Ideally located at Chandigarh-Sirhind Highway and is an easy access to the students. PGC promotes lifelong learning, research, creative activity, social and professional responsibility and growth. We prefer students to have close contact with prize-winning and path-breaking faculty, a comprehensive advising system and a community where they are able to interact with their peers in a deep and meaningful way, both inside and outside of the classroom. To these ends, the group challenges students to think critically and intuitively, to cross disciplinary boundaries, to recognize and value diverse perspectives, and to solve problems creatively and with perseverance.
