Punjab Group of Colleges(PGC) is a group of self financed unaided institutions set up by Gyan Jyoti Educational and Social Welfare Society (Regd.) The Society was established with a deep commitment to promote and propagate quality education conforming to international standards. It has been founded by a great visionary ,Mr. Nirmal Singh, Chairman of the society. The institutes are duly approved by Bar Council of India (New Delhi), NCTE (Jaipur), AICTE (New Delhi),affiliated to Punjabi University (Patiala) and Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE & IT).

Our History

Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) is a leading educational hub, dedicated to providing quality education across diverse fields, shaping the future of students through its renowned institutions.

2005:

A Vision is Born - PCE In 2005, Punjab College of Education (PCE) was established to provide quality education and prepare skilled educators. The college emphasized responsible teaching and a passion for fostering future generations.

2006-2008:

Laying the Groundwork During these years, PCE developed an innovative academic framework. The college provided a nurturing environment, encouraging intellectual growth and ethical teaching practices to meet educational challenges effectively.

2009-2012:

Strengthening the Roots PCE expanded its faculty and upgraded its curriculum. The focus was on skill development and delivering a well-rounded learning experience that prepared students to meet evolving educational demands.

2013-2014:

Expansion and New Beginnings - PCCA In 2013-14, Punjab College of Commerce and Agriculture (PCCA) was launched, introducing specialized programs in commerce, agriculture, and allied fields to meet industry needs.

2015-2017:

Pioneering Excellence in Education PGC advanced with modern infrastructure and innovative academic programs. This era focused on practical knowledge, industry connections, and strengthening the institution’s educational foundations.

2017-2018

Punjab College of Law The Punjab College of Law (PCL) was introduced to deliver high-quality legal education. Its advanced curriculum prepared students for successful careers in law with a strong focus on professionalism.

2018-2022:

A Reputation for Excellence By 2022, PGC had become synonymous with academic excellence. With its institutions, it produced skilled professionals in education, commerce, law, and agriculture, solidifying its reputation in diverse fields.

2023-Present:
