Punjab Group of Colleges(PGC) is a group of self financed unaided institutions set up by Gyan Jyoti Educational and Social Welfare Society (Regd.) The Society was established with a deep commitment to promote and propagate quality education conforming to international standards. It has been founded by a great visionary ,Mr. Nirmal Singh, Chairman of the society. The institutes are duly approved by Bar Council of India (New Delhi), NCTE (Jaipur), AICTE (New Delhi),affiliated to Punjabi University (Patiala) and Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE & IT).
For Students Support, colleges are having Student Council to interact with students and to update management regarding the issues.
Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the in-charge Students’ Grievance Cell.
Anti-Ragging Committee ensure compliance with the provisions of Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging

The transition to an environment of learning becomes easy with the availability of multiple sources of learning such as text books, power-point presentations, and story boards on various subjects.
Assessments and interactivities are given at the end of every session such that the practical application of theory learnt can be gauged.
