The Career Development and Placement Cell at Punjab College of Law is dedicated to empowering students and guiding their future career choices. To provide comprehensive guidance on various career opportunities available post-graduation, the Cell organizes a range of activities throughout the academic year. During these sessions, experts from diverse fields such as corporate sectors, advocacy, the judiciary, forensic science, and the Judge Advocate General (JAG) corps, among others, share their insights. These interactions offer students a broad perspective on potential career paths, equipping and inspiring them to achieve their professional goals.

• Career Counselling and Guidance: Offering personalized counselling to enhance students’ placement prospects and professional growth.
• Guest Lectures: Hosting sessions with senior advocates, judges, and academicians to provide insights into various legal careers.
• Job Opportunity Awareness: Informing students about job opportunities in government sectors and off-campus recruitment drives.
• Competitive Exam Preparation: Displaying information on competitive exams, legal firms, and industrial career opportunities on departmental notice boards.
• Motivational Talks: Organizing sessions to inspire and motivate students.
• Interview Preparation: Providing training for personal interviews and group discussions through professional trainers to prepare students for campus placements.
• Coaching Centre: Establishing both offline and online coaching centres for judicial services and other law-related competitive exams at reasonable fees.
• Advocacy Practice Support: Assisting students in starting their practice as advocates in any court of law in India.
• Higher Education Assistance: Guiding students pursuing higher education, such as LL.M. and Ph.D. programs.
• Career Awareness: Creating awareness about various career options and helping students identify their career objectives.
• Industry Tie-Ups: Collaborating with reputable industries and corporate entities for campus recruitment and coordinating internships with constitutional institutions like consumer forums, NHRC, and SHRC.
