Anti Ragging Cell

An anti-ragging committee is formed under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009. Our Ragging cell is composed:-

Our committee’s responsibilities include:-

  • Creating a duty chart and regularly checking for ragging activity
  • Conducting surprise checks in areas where ragging is likely to occur
  • Ensuring anti-ragging instructions are displayed in prominent places
  • Considering student complaints, conducting inquiries, and submitting reports to the committee along with recommended punishments
  • Overseeing the process of obtaining undertakings from students
  • Conducting workshops to educate students about ragging
  • Providing students with contact information for people who can receive complaints or distress calls
  • Raising awareness among students about anti-ragging
  • Ensuring compliance with ragging regulations and laws
  • Monitoring and overseeing the performance of the anti-ragging squad
  • Building self-esteem and dignity among students
  • Offering counselling and legal aid in cases of atrocities against women
  • Raising awareness about women’s rights
